While you here check out this recipe! These muffin are so chocolaty and devine, with oozing Nuttela centre, with just a few ingredients your ready to go!
300g Self Raising flour
50g cocoa powder
1 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
3 large eggs
240 ml buttermilk
100 ml vegetable oil
2 teaspoons vanilla essence
150 chocolate chunks
150g chocolate chip
100 white choc chunks
Preheat the oven to 160 degrees
Whisk together the dry ingredients, coco flour, , baking powder, bicarbonate soda in a large bowl. Fold in the chocolate chips/chocolate chunks.
In your mixer bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, buttermilk, oil and vanilla extract. Add the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and mix slowly until combined. Careful not to over-mix.
Divide the batter evenly between 12 muffin cases . Spoon 2 teaspoons of Nutella into the centers, then spoon the remaining batter on top of each muffin.
Bake them for 20mins or till baked through.
To make buttermilk.
Squeeze 1 tbls of lemon juice to milk and leave it aside for 10mins.
